Privacy & data
How information is used.
This page explains the information handled by SatGrade’s website and verification tools.
Information you submit
The pre-launch enquiry form asks for your name, WhatsApp number, location, card details and optional notes. These details are used to review your enquiry and contact you about the planned service. Please leave out payment credentials and unrelated sensitive information. The email template opens in your own email app and is only sent when you send it.
Collector accounts
Collector accounts store a name, email address, linked submission history and saved certificate numbers. Your saved list is private to your account and does not establish ownership of a card. SatGrade links grading history to the original submitter. Saving or removing a certificate does not change its public record or reveal another collector’s account.
Website and service providers
The website runs on Vercel. Supabase supports account sign-in and data storage. Submission requests may also be recorded in Google Sheets when that connection is enabled. These providers process information needed to deliver those functions.
Public certificates and Bitcoin
Certificate lookups display card and grading information, including available card images and proof details. Bitcoin transactions contain a cryptographic commitment to certificate data, rather than the submission form. The blockchain record is public and cannot be deleted by SatGrade.
Cookies and local storage
Account sign-in uses session cookies. Your theme choice is saved in your browser, and language preferences may be remembered. Following a blockchain explorer link or running a proof check can connect your browser to an external Bitcoin data provider.
Questions about your information
Contact satgrade@gmail.com to ask about information associated with your request, how long it is retained, or to request access, correction or deletion. Include enough detail to identify your request, but do not email passwords. Public blockchain commitments cannot be removed.
